Tomorrow we will hear, VIIRTUALLY, from one of our favorites, conservative columnist Cameron Smith. Cameron received his B.A. in philosophy and classics from Washington & Lee University and his J.D. from The University of Alabama. School of Law. He has been Legislative Counsel to Senator Jeff Sessions on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Executive Director of the U.S. House Intellectual Property Caucus, counsel to two former Republican House members, and from 2011-2014, was political director and general counsel, then vice president, of the Alabama Policy Institute. In 2014, he began Smith Strategies, a political consulting firm, and became a columnist for Alabama Media Group. In 2015, he became state programs director and a senior fellow at the R Street Institute. Ballotpedia has identified Cameron as a “Top Influencer.” He recently became a columnist for USA Today. He has four sons, two dogs, a bearded dragon, and, as he proudly admits, an “extremely patient wife.” Cameron is conservative but very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and insightful.
